GIRLS FOOTBALL !
On Wednesday 31st January a group of 9 girls were selected to compete in a tough football comp.
The round robin type competition was held at Mabley green Football park in which 12 different schools entered. Gainsborough were in a group with two other schools.
The results of the fixtures are as follows ( Each game was played twice):
Winning once - 3-1
losing twice - 2-0
drawing once - 0-0
In fortunately we were unable to gain enough points to qualify for the quarter finals.
