Anansi Storytelling

We have been learning all about the great storyteller, Anansi, from West Africa. We did some research about Africa so we could learn more about where Anansi originated. Then, we listened to our teacher reading so we knew what a story teller does to make all stories sound exciting. We then re-told the story of Anansi and the Talking Melon using props and actions. We even got to try some melon! We are looking forward to writing our own Anansi adventures.
