Year 1 Make Puppets

Last term Year One were learning about toys. As part of the topic the children researched, designed and made their own puppets. We looked at different types of puppets and the materials they were made out of. 

We like a challenge in Year One so we decided we would make hand puppets out of felt. This meant learning to sew! 

Here are some pictures of our journey from start to finish.

It wasn't easy learning to sew but we persevered and had a brand new toy at the end.
