Hackney Tag Rugby
Good Morning All,
This morning I will like to update you with what Gainsborough was up to last week.
Gainsborough school took part in a Hackney Tag Rugby competition that took place at The Petchey Academy. All the children were up for this as they were training every morning from 8:15 am- 9am from 4th February till 27th February. When we arrived we had the first round as a breather, the first two games the children played they showed all the skills learned through training, our third game was the start of a run of hard games, we drew 1 and lost 2 out of the three, for our final game we went out with real purpose and dominated the game.
The refs and organisers came over to ask about a few of Gainsboroughs players as they liked the way they played as they were disciplined and showed great determination through the tournament.
Thank you reading and have a great WORLD BOOK DAY!!!
