Year 6 Journey to Parliament

Year 6 Trip to Houses of Parliament

Nightingales and Hummingbirds went to Houses of Parliament.

We went on a tour through the House of Commons and Westminster Hall.

Unfortunately we didn't get to go into the House of Lords.

"I learnt that when you want to talk in a debate you need to stand up, we practiced then by debating.   I agreed and debated the 13 year old's should be allowed to vote" - Jacinta  

PA Games: Boccia and New Age Kurling

Tuesday 3rd December

The PA Games: Boccia and New Age Kurling competition showed some great focus from all the children that took part.

Both our Gainsborough team showed great manners and respect to everyone they played with, they also showed great rolling skills to get as many points as they can.

All they Hard work was rewarded as Gainsborough B Came out in 3rd place.

Congrats!!!!!!!

PA Games Football Round 1

Tuesday 26th November 2019

Today marked the first round of the PA Games which have ten teams competing to win this years trophy.

Gainsborough has entered two teams in this competition. Both teams played each other for the first match. Both teams showed great determination, teamwork and skills throughout the first round of this competition.

Well done Gainsborough for an amazing start.
